The RTX 3050 hashrate is here, and it isn’t looking great for Nvidia’s budget offering. The desktop RTX 3050 is here, meaning that we’ve got our first look at the RTX 3050 hashrate for cryptocurrency mining. With 8GB of GDDR6, this entry-level card could be worth it for those looking for a slightly less power-hungry crypto mining card, with the cards seemingly in regular supply, it could be a pretty good option for those looking to build out their own home-farming setup with the efficiency that’s not afforded by the sheer power draw of higher-end graphics cards. However, until then we can also comment on the RTX 3050 mobile version, which has been released got a while now, and with some data to back it up.

What is the hashrate of the RTX 3050?

The hashrate of the RTX 3050 is 13.66 MH/s at 57W. You can assume that there have been no hashrate unlocks for this particular model. This report comes from a leaked benchmark reported by Videocardz. However, compared to the RX 6500 XT, which cannot mine on the Dagger Hashimoto chain at all, it’s definitely something rather than completely nothing.

Currently, the hashrate for the RTX 3050 mobile is 22.25 MH/s, as we do not yet have numbers for what the desktop model is able to reach. We will be sure to update this as the desktop version of the graphics cards releases to make sure that you have everything you need to know about the RTX 3050 hashrate.

These numbers are reflective of using the cards on ETChashWhile we do not yet have results for the desktop RTX 3050, the mobile versions of the RTX 3050 are very respectable for chips that are not only mobile-only but also are very power limited, meaning that you could potentially get some really fantastically efficient miners on the go with the mobile chipsets, though the laptop’s cooling solution will have a massive impact on the realistic capacity to mine on a mobile device, though it’s not completely unheard of. Regardless, be careful with whatever silicon you’re using, mobile or not, as there’s a global shortage and anything that breaks down may be difficult to replace.

RTX 3050 8GB hashrate: what to expect

Right now, the RTX 3050 is in fairly good standing, considering the wealthy specs that make it more than up for the job in order to get a respectable return when it comes to mining, though we still need to confirm the hashrates of the card itself. With an MSRP of $249, it’s an incredibly attractive option for those looking to set up their own budget mining rig.
