Toplitz Production, the Publishers behind the freshly released Medieval Dynasty, which is one of the best-received survival RPG games is back with another Dynasty game. The publishers have teamed up with Superkami games, to bring their Dynasty formulae to Japan, offering players the chance to head to the medieval Japanese period and create a Samurai Dynasty.
What is Sengoku Dynasty?
Sengoku Dynasty follows the gameplay style that is Medieval Dynasty. Players will create a character, which has fled the death and destruction ravishing the land. This one character will need to rebuild a Japanese Village, eventually making it prosper into a fiefdom.
Through the typical Dynasty gameplay, your character will need to dabble with a variety of medieval professions in order to survive. Players will need to learn to farm, build, and craft, in order to build a sufficient realm and survive the warring factions and famine that bestows itself amongst Japan.
However, you won’t need to do it alone. One of the standout features of the Sengoku Dynasty is the coop feature. Players will be able to play with up to three other players in a four-player coop mode. These other players can help you complete quests, build, and fight challenging enemies, which comes with its own rewards. Alternatively, you and your friends can build a kingdom in Sandbox mode.
You and your friends can explore the various biomes that enhance the Japanese island. Explore cherry blossom forests, snowy mountains, fields, and the coast, finding that perfect territory to make your new fief prosper into a kingdom.
Also, when you’re settlement begins to expand, you’ll get to partake in new settlement features. You will be able to initiate diplomacy, trade, start a family, and manage a community in a city builder like way, except you’ll see it from the perspective of your playable character.
Sengoku Dynasty release date
As it stands, there is no official release date for the game. Although, Toplitz Production revealed the game will launch in early access sometime on PC next year. There is no projection of when that is, but, it’s good news for fans of the Medieval Dynasty game. We will update the article when we know more about the Sengoku Dynasty release date.
