Steam Deck Becomes More Widely Available

What this means is that some people who had Steam Deck reservations for Q4 2022 (October to December) have now been moved to Q3 2022.

It’s not every single user that is able to get their reservation pushed (this poor writer is still holding out hope for his) but it’s a start for a console that is so deeply desired by many.

When Did The Steam Deck Release?

The Steam Deck launched in February of this year and is a massively powerful device. It can play basically any game, emulate old consoles, act as a handheld PC, and more.

Due to these features, it’s a highly requested console and one that simply cannot meet the supply and demand. Hopefully, this is just one of the first steps to making the console available for everything whenever they want it.

Personally, I cannot wait to get my Steam Deck simply because playing games from bed or on the go is a dream of mine. My Nintendo Switch is constantly in use, and having a console so much more powerful than that to play whatever I want whenever I want to play it is really the ideal gaming device for me.

I’ll be using my Steam Deck mainly to play low-end indie games rather than the massive AAA titles, but even that will be an absolute joy on a system with the specs that the Steam Deck has.
