A whole host of players are already looking forward to the next season (four) of Overwatch, but that raises the question: when does Overwatch 2 season 3 end?
As is always the case, one new season means the end and close of another so we’re here to try and answer that question for you so you can get all your Overwatch ducks in a row.
Overwatch 2 season 3 end date prediction
The first thing to say is that we don’t officially, 100% know when Overwatch 2 season 3 will end and when season 4 will begin. And that is to say, we’ve had no official word or press release or news post on Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 website or anything like that.
However, despite the absence of official notice, we can have a decent stab at when the season change will be – and if it’s true you may want to get prepared soon! This decent stab is based on how long the previous seasons were, and even more so as they were both the same length in number of days. Season one and season two both lasted 64 days (I know, almost strange in a way), meaning that we could expect this season to be the same and thus that Overwatch 2 season 3 might well end on April 11, 2023.
This could then mark the Overwatch 2 season 4 start date start for season 4 or act as the cut off with season 4 starting the following day on April 12. Both of these would only be about two weeks away too!
It’s as good a theory as we have right now anyway. However, we would remind you that nothing has been confirmed officially – though this is still based on Overwatch itself, not just pure conjecture based on nothing.
Overwatch 2 Season 3 end date
Overwatch 2’s Competitive seasons run for a period of nine weeks, meaning Season 3 is projected to end by approximately Apr. 11. Although there is a possibility of slight changes to this date, Blizzard has demonstrated a considerable level of consistency in their scheduling thus far.
How long do Overwatch 2 seasons last?
Typically, Overwatch 2 has stuck to a pretty regular time period for its seasons: nine weeks, or 63 days. This has been the case with the past couple of Overwatch 2 seasons, so there’s no real need to deviate from it when thinking about when Overwatch 2 season 3 ends. Although, we could of course be proved wrong!
