In this section, we’ll be answering that question in full, outlining some of the best features this TV comes equipped with – followed by why you should consider them as a gamer.
Improved Alpha a9 gen 6 processor
LG’s latest arrival will come equipped with a new-and-improved Alpha a9 Gen 6 processor – a clear improvement over both the LG C1 and C2 models.

120Hz refresh rate
Like its predecessor, the LG C3 will also feature a 120Hz refresh rate – perfect for next-gen console gaming. It will feature four HDMI 2.1 ports that will all support 4K@120Hz, ALLM, and VRR technologies.
Not only will this allow the new C3 OLED TV to fully support both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles, but it’ll also allow users to use the C3 as a competitive gaming monitor too – albeit not as optimized for gaming as a gaming monitor.

VRR, ALLM, and HGiG technology
Again, LG continues to use gaming-tailored features in the LG C3 OLED TV, including VRR (variable refresh rate), ALLM (Auto-low latency mode), and HGiG (HDR Gaming interest group) technology.
Pairing these three technologies together gives you the perfect balance for a crisp and artifact-free visual experience.
Better yet, the HGiG technology will result in more accurate HDR tone mapping which helps to produce a more lifelike gaming experience.
