Below, we have news of a release date & details on the movie itself for you to peruse.

Winnie The Pooh Blood And Honey Trailer

The trailer shows an absolutely vicious amount of gore and viscera while showing brief glimpses of Winnie and Piglet.

The biggest issue with the trailer is the obvious lack of a budget behind the production. Pooh and Piglet are simply tall men in masks, which robs it of the potential horror value it could have had. If you know that they’re just people, they’re no longer that scary anymore.

Do We Have A Winnie The Pooh Blood And Honey Release Date?

As of right now, we don’t have a release date. It’s likely that with the first trailer’s release, we see it coming in the next half of a year.

Of course, with a low-budget movie like this, there’s also the chance that there could be delays. With the hype surrounding the movie on Twitter, though, the producers will want to get it out as soon as possible while people are still talking about it.

It is slightly worrying exactly how obvious it is that these are just masks.

Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey centers on a world where Christopher Robin abandoned poor Winnie and Piglet and the rest of the gang. As is made obvious by the trailer, Eeyore is dead (poor Eeyore), and both Pooh and Piglet have gone feral.

They’re killing people left, right, and center, and that’s the film’s premise. It’s a slasher piece, taking inspiration from movies such as Halloween and Friday The 13th, but on a much lower budget.

Low-budget horror can do incredible things because they have to use tricks to make themselves scarier. Still, the Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey trailer looks like the lowest common denominator of horror, the kind that is just comprised of jump scares and gore.

What Do Movie Fans think of Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey?

In particular, the pouring out of honey/blood seems to have garnered some commentary from the online audience.

As you can probably imagine, there has been a lot of discussion about the film since it came out. This latest trailer has prompted a variety of different reactions from folks all across the internet.

On the R/Horror Reddit, fans had a wide variety of reactions. Some thought that the trailer had sold them on the movie, with user 123jazzhands321 saying:

“two things crossed my mind during/after watching this trailer,

  1. “Dear god this movie looks terrible.”
  2. “I cannot wait to see this movie.””

Other users were not as positive. User GeeEhm said:

“You know those horror movies on Amazon Prime that have a 4-star rating because the cast and crew got 300 of their friends to review it? Then you watch it and get pissed because it’s 90 minutes of your life that you’ll never get back?
That’s the destiny of this film.”

It seems like, for now, at least, the movie is garnering some mixed reactions. Then again, this is based on the only trailer we have. We’ll need to wait for the actual movie itself before we judge it.
