The Radeon RX 6700 XT is further evidence that AMD is engaged in the battle for graphics cards.

The GPU, however, is even more convincing proof that the market for video cards is so out of balance in terms of supply and demand that prices are essentially irrelevant.

The RX 6700 XT is based on the Big Navi (RDNA 2) architecture and features an amazing amount of GDDR 6 RAM (12GB), operating at excessively high rates. It also supports ray tracing.

Is the 6700 XT good for 1440p gaming?

The Radeon RX 6700 XT is touted by AMD as the best GPU for 1440p gaming at high settings.

The powerful 6800 or 6800XT or the RTX 3080 are possibilities if you want 4K. AMD claims that the 6700 XT’s 12GB of video RAM makes all the difference, especially in the 1440p sweet region.

Additionally, the manufacturer claims that this video card is suitable for 1440p high refresh rate monitors; not only that, it will give you 60 frames per second. Both in 1080p and 1440p, the Radeon RX 6700 XT is able to produce great frame rates.

In both cases, our average frame rate was greater than 60. Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3070 is at least 17% quicker at both resolutions.

The lack of a DLSS rival is even more significant. With DLSS, GeForce RTX cards can instantly reconstruct a 4K image from a 1080p render using machine learning. The disadvantage of DLSS is that it requires developers to implement it. Therefore, if you play a game without DLSS, all you have is raw processing power. And in this respect, the 6700 XT excels.

If you are looking to buy a 6700 XT and it is within your price range, you should take it. Its gaming performance cannot be disputed. On a 1440p display, it will be helpful to you, but it also performs admirably at 4K. At worst, its flaws are situational, and even then, lowering the resolution to 1080p will result in excellent ray-tracing performance.
