The GeForce RTX 2060 Super is a fantastic graphics card from NVIDIA it was launched on the 9th of July in 2019. Based on the 12nm process and built upon the TU106 graphics processor, which is the TU106-410-A1 version, the card is compatible with DirectX 12 Ultimate. This guarantees that all current games run with GeForce RTX 2060 Super, though how many frames you’ll reach of course depends on other factors such as how demanding the game is, resolution, or even bottlenecking.

The RTX 3060 is equivalent to RTX 2060, Since it is a newer generation, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 does have some improvements over the RTX 2060 Super. This RTX 2060 Super uses the identical TU106 GPU that we had on the RTX 2060, which was manufactured using a 12-nm TSMC process.
On the contrary, the RTX 3060 is equipped with an Ampere GA106 GPU. It was manufactured using Samsung’s 8nm technology. This gives it an advantage in transistor count, which is 13.25 billion transistors as opposed to the RTX 2060 Super’s 10.8 billion transistors.

CHECK PRICEDespite the differences in transistor count, however, the RTX 2060 Super offers a few advantages. The first is that it has a higher RT core count of the RTX 2060 Super is greater than that one of the RTX 3060.
In addition, the memory bandwidth of the RTX 2060 Super is greater. The RTX 3060 isn’t much more powerful than the 2060 Super as it could be. Let’s take a look at the performance of these two cards.
The 3060 RTX is a good buy on its own and does deliver decent results at 1440p, which is close to 60 FPS. While it’s not quite at the 1440p figure of 144 FPS but it’s still a good performance for the money when you get a reasonably priced AIB card.
So on par with the performance of the RTX 2060 Super, you can find the RX 6600 or the RTX 3060. These both are close competitors in terms of framerate during gameplay.
