Blizzard had mentioned in their official Open Beta Guide for Diablo 4 that they would be enabling an early download for players who wish to preload and play immediately, and they’re doing it for the Server Slam Beta too.
How to Download Diablo 4 Server Slam Beta early
There are three distinct ways for each of the devices you can play the open beta on, be it PlayStation, Xbox, or PC. Here’s a simple guide for each:
PC
- Launch the Battle.net client.
- You can find Diablo 4 by accessing the All Games page.
- Search for Diablo 4.
- Once you get to the Diablo 4 Game Page, click the dropdown menu under Game Version and select the Diablo IV – Server Slam option.
- Click the blue button that says Install.
- The game will install and once it’s available, click Play to Launch.
Xbox
- Go to the main menu of your Xbox.
- Launch the Xbox Store
- Search for Diablo IV–Server Slam Beta.
- Select Download.
- It will download in the background, you can set your Xbox to rest or play other games while it preloads.
PlayStation
- Go to the main menu of your PlayStation.
- Launch the PlayStation Store
- Search for Diablo IV Server Slam Beta.
- Click Download.

When can I preload the Diablo 4 Server Slam?
