Does the iPad Pro have Wireless Charging? I hear you cry. Well sadly not. The latest 2022 M2 iPad Pro is probably the most powerful tablet in the market; for sure, it is the most powerful iPad in Apple’s arsenal.

Frankly, the new iPad Pro came out of nowhere. The M1 iPad Pro 2021 version was already a powerful device. Although; it required some much-needed software tweaks but not an entirely new iPad Pro with a more powerful chip.

Is there iPad Pro 2022 Wireless Charging?

iPad Pro is an expensive device. So, you may have thought it comes with all of Apple’s premium features. Well, you are wrong!

The new iPad Pro doesn’t come with wireless charging. There was a rumor speculating the new iPad Pro to come with wireless charging and MagSafe. But it didn’t come to pass, at least this year.

That said, wireless charging is not a common tablet feature. Take a look at all the tablets available in the market. The feature is available on a handful of tablets that are not even considered mainstream consumers. So, you are not really missing out on anything.

What Does the New 2022 iPad Pro Provide, if Not Wireless Charging?

Well, for sure, there’s no wireless charging on the new iPad Pro. Since iPads never had this feature, you won’t even miss it.

But the new iPad Pro is a great and powerful device in its own right. This time, the 11-inch model is packing 28.65 Watt-hour battery, while the 12.9-inch model packs a 40.88 Watt-hour battery.

The battery life is similar to the last year’s M1 model. You will still get 10 hours of use on the Wi-Fi variant and 9 hours on the cellular variant. This is a good number. If you charge the device with the included USB Type-C cable, iPad Pro is good for the day. You may even have some juice left for Netflix when you reach home from work.
