Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Other Games Free to Play

With the Coronavirus spreading fast, many of us are in lockdown and are spending a lot of time wondering what to do. As a result, game developers have come to the rescue and made certain titles available, free to play for a short time.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, you might want to check out what games are available for free.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Headlining the list of games currently free to play is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Ubisoft’s new Assassin’s Creed title is available to play from March 19th to March 22nd so you’ll need to act fast if you want to dive into the world of Ancient Greece.

Set during the Peloponnesian War, you play as a Spartan warrior outcast in the beginning but as you embark on your odyssey you can become a living legend.

To get your hands on this title, you will need to visit Ubisoft’s website and enter your details. The great thing is, if you decide to purchase this game because you want more time to explore it, your progress will be saved where you left off.

What Other Games Are Free To Play?

If you’re a sports fan, you might prefer to give Football Manager 2020 a go. This is a strategic football RPG which is currently free to play on Steam. This title will be free until March 25th so there’s plenty of time to get to grips with the world of football management. If you’re worried that we won’t see the end of the football season due to cancellations this year, why not give it a crack yourself! The upcoming VR game will be set before Half-Life 2, but features the same characters. So, if you’re planning to get your hands on it, now is the perfect time to play through the earlier titles once again.

MtG: Arena has been out for some time now, but it still holds up as a great free-to-play game. And, if you’re already a fan of the card game, this allows you to enjoy playing with people without heading out into public – perfect!

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Warzone

The recently released multiplayer game from the Call of Duty franchise has been an instant hit for many. With the recent addition of solo play, you no longer need to rely on matchmaking, and can just jump straight into the action too.
