Is XDefiant on Steam? Ubisoft’s XDefiant has kicked off it’s closed beta for first-person shooter fans to enjoy, however PC players will be scourging to find out the platform to where they will be able to enjoy the game in the meanwhile.

With this being the flagship game Ubisoft is currently marketing right now, fans of shooters will want to try XDefiant as it looks to usher in a new era of first-person shooters that many will want to get their hands on on PC.

Steam is often a platform PC players flock to when it comes to new game releases, with good reason – as it’s established themselves as a platform where new AAA games get published, however is this the case for XDefiant? We’ll breakdown here simply whether XDefiant is on steam or not!

Is XDefiant on Steam?

Sadly, XDefiant is not on Steam for PC players and will only be available on Ubisoft Connect. This seems to be Ubisoft’s in-house platform that stores their games in, exclusively.

As of right now, it seems that this is the only way to access XDefiant with no other option for PC players, so it’s important that if you plan on playing XDefiant – you’ll need to navigate to Ubisoft Connect to get access to it, there you’ll find Ubisoft+ which is the array of games Ubisoft have to offer, and will be the main platform to be on for XDefiant

Will XDefiant come to Steam?

It’s unknown at the moment, however games such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Rainbow Six Siege are currently on Steam – so there is a slight possibility that the game may appear on the Steam platform eventually, which will be a relief due to the popularity of the gaming platform across the video game ecosystem.
