A brand new Star Wars Jedi Survivor trailer has just dropped! It’s the latest look at the upcoming sequel and breaks down the story we’re going to experience in much more detail – which is most welcome, and really serves to ramp up the excitement. With the Star Wars Jedi Survivor release date now only five weeks or so away (April 28th), now seems the perfect time to drop an official story trailer.
The game was originally due to release on March 17th – that’s this very week – so it seems apt that we all get to see something this week, in lieu of the actual release. And since it’s full announcement back in May 2022, fans – us included – have been gagging for more information.

Star War Jedi Survivor trailer
As you can see the Star Wars Jedi Survivor trailer sets the scene for a story that takes place five years after Jedi Fallen Order, and sees Cal’s increasingly desperate search for somewhere safe from the empire. Plus, there’s fan-favourite characters Merrin and Greez confirmed to be appearing as well as dual-wielding lightsabers again! What’s not to love?!
Is Star Wars Jedi Survivor only next gen?
An increasingly pertinent question as there are plenty of folks who are still rockin’ a last gen console: but the news is not good for those players as Star Wars Jedi Survivor is next-gen only.
While it’s a shame for those on the older consoles, the plus side to this is that the game will be made with the new, more powerful machines solely in mind – thus, we have a game that won’t have had to cut any corners, or make any compromises to run on older hardware. That’s pretty exciting, particularly when you consider all the moves and combat sequences a fully-equipped and trained Jedi might be able to put together…
