ASUS announces ROG Gladius gaming mouse design contest

Last Friday, ASUS announced their brand-new competition, which gets punters and designers alike to get together to submit their own design skin of the ASUS ROG Gladius III gaming mouse. promising a cash prize of £1000, as well as a couple of other ROG goodies and vouchers. You’ll want to get drawing and concepting up in your favourite image editor of choice to design your own, and potentially have your ROG III Gladius gaming mouse looking fresher than your kicks, but you won’t have to dish out over five figures to get a cool looking mouse. All you will need to do is submit up to three designs to be in the running to have a custom skin made out of them.
Custom skins are nothing new, but they have to be executed well, which is exactly what mouseskins.gg does, so that’s why ASUS has partnered up with them to help make the winning design a reality. With the Gladius III itself having pretty hefty chops when it comes to gaming, you could be rocking your very own custom-designed mouse with near-unparalleled gaming performance to boot. Boasting a DPI up to 26,000 in addition to ROG Paracord in addition to the Push-Fit Switch Socket IIs, the Gladius is a formidable mouse, that promotes customization and creativity anyway, so it’s great to see that this competition could potentially switch it up further and give you more than you will probably ever need.
How to enter the competition
To enter the ASUS ROG Gladius mouse design contest, all you need to do is submit your design to the competition’s official page, where you can also download the template, and upload it using the form. From there, the public will then vote on their favourite design, which counts for 80% of the scoring, and it’s then down to a Judges Vote, which has a 20% weighting.
You can submit your entries from now until the 1st of June 2022, with voting on designs open from the 3rd of Jude all the way to the 17th. The winners of the competition will be announced on the 24th of June.
The winning prize is as follows: £1,000 cash, a £100 GamesPlanet voucher, and ROG merch. But, if you don’t win, there’s also a lucky draw for those who vote on the designs, which could net you a ‘Second-edition print of the ROG Gladius III gaming mouse adorned with the winner’s design in addition to a £50 GamesPlanet Voucher and ROG merch.
