Why is Lost Ark becoming popular? Lost Ark is officially out today on February 11, 2022. Some of the players that paid extra money were already able to play for a couple of days. The game was originally released a couple of years ago in other regions, and now it made its way to the United States and Europe.
Lost Ark was developed by Smilegate RPG and released originally in South Korea, China, and Russia in 2019. After almost 3 years, Amazon Games published the game all around the world. So why exactly is it so appealing to many people?
Is Lost Ark Popular?
The game is gaining popularity rapidly, and it is only a matter of time when it becomes a huge success. Similar story to New World, and hopefully even bigger game. It has a lot of content still to come, that is not available in Europe and America just yet.
The game is an MMORPG with a lot of hack-and-slash elements. The main aspect that appeals to many people seems to be the visual presentation. Many characters look badass, and with a hit of Asian culture, but without going over the board with it.
All the abilities look insane. Of course there are some great looking AAA titles out there, but for a game that is not as big as some other franchises like Diablo or World of Warcraft, it does an amazing job with its visual aspects.
There is a lot of variety when it comes to Lost Ark characters. At first sight it looks like there are 5 character classes, but in reality every class has multiple subclasses, some of them even four. In total, you get 14 character variations, which results with a lot of replayability and possible teamwork mechanics.
Lost Ark is Here to Stay
All in all, the replayability and amazing looking skills are something that makes the game stand out definitely. For fans who cannot wait for the release of Diablo 4 some might be drawn to the hack-and-slash gameplay of the title.
Me personally wanted to play the game ever since I saw how ridiculously skills and abilities look like. Every skill feels like an ultimate ability with lots of particles and visual polishing. It makes you hit enemies so hard it is very satisfying to look at the screen, and satisfaction is one of the main factors of keeping players with a certain game.
