Rangers announced a new, multi-year partnership with EA SPORTS, and initially stated that Ibrox will feature as a playable stadium in FIFA 23. Since this announcement the article has been tweaked, removing the content that talked about 3D scans for players and the stadium.

Celtic has also since announced a new, 4-year partnership with EA SPORTS. At this stage, there is no mention of whether or not the players and Celtic Park will be 3d scanned yet but it gives us the hope we were looking for.

It looks as though both Celtic and Rangers players will get 3D scans, however other news firms are reporting that Celtic Park and Ibrox will not feature in the upcoming FIFA title.

The new SPFL season is well underway, with both Celtic and Rangers firing on all cylinders thus far but will they be fully represented in FIFA 23?

The Scottish Premiership has featured in FIFA for some time but we have yet to see a single Stadium come to the game.

Nothing pleases football fans more than seeing their team run out, digitally of course, to an electrifying atmosphere.

In case you were unaware, Celtic and Rangers are the two biggest clubs in Scotland both sharing a rich history and unrivaled domestic dominance.

Furthermore, Celtic was known all over the world for their European Cup exploits of the 60s and more recent, unprecedented, Quadruple Treble.

On the other hand, Rangers recently had a fantastic Europa League run, so isn’t it about time we saw two of the biggest stages in the UK come to FIFA 23?

“The 3D head scans of the first team and of Ibrox are set to take place in the coming weeks, and we can’t wait to see these launched in a future release of EA SPORTS FIFA 23.”

It’s about time Celtic Park & Ibrox feature in FIFA 23

Rangers FC recent announcement brings the blue half of Glasgow into the fold, with 3D scans taking place very soon. This key bit of information has since been removed from the Rangers website.

Celtic has also been announced as a partner in EA Sports FIFA 23, but it is still unknown exactly what this means for the game and the club. Yet, it seems like a safe bet we will see their ground feature heavily in the game.

No matter who you support, it is great to see a Scottish club fully represented in a FIFA title.

Ideally, we would see all Scottish stadiums added to FIFA 23 but based on the history of the AAA game, it doesn’t look great.

You never know, and in the future, if the FIFA governing body decides to make their own game with third-party developers, they may include all leagues, clubs, and stadiums that reside under FIFA.

FIFA 22 featured 100 stadiums and if the recent leaks are correct, FIFA 23 is going to have even more.
