Dragonflight is the latest expansion coming to the world-famous MMO World of Warcraft.

It has been two years since the last major expansion to the main WoW servers.

So the content that’s available currently is as follows:

We know that the new expansion will feature five new areas for you to explore, dotted around the Dragon Isles, which is the main setting for the expansion. Unfortunately, that is currently the limit of our knowledge until Blizzard decides to release more details down the line.

Though there isn’t an official source on the expansion’s exact release date, a recent leak makes it seem like the title will drop at the end of November 2022. This information comes from a leak, so take it with a big pinch of salt.

How Do I Get Into The World Of Warcraft: Dragonflight Beta?

To get into the beta, you’ll need to head to the expansions official site, then scroll all the way down tot he bottom of the page to find the ‘Beta Opt-In’ button. It’s seriously all the way past the media gallery and everything, so keep scrolling.

Once you click it, you’ll be asked to sign into your Battle.net account if you haven’t already done so. At thsi point, you should see ‘Thanks for signing up, [username]’ to confirm that you’re signed up.

The official World Of Warcraft blog post also suggests doing the following:

• Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.
• Run the Battle.net desktop app—it may need to update itself if you haven’t run it recently. If you don’t have the app installed, get started here.
• Once Battle.net is installed and updated, select World of Warcraft from the list of games.
• In the Game Version drop-down menu above the Play button, choose the Dragonflight Beta (listed under In Development) option, then click Install.
• Allow installation to complete, click Play and select any of the available Test Servers.
• Create a new test character or use the character copy to import your existing Shadowlands character.
• Enter the game and test the content.
