Corsair adds AM5 and LGA 1700 compatibility to ELITE series coolers! Corsair is a leading manufacturer of PC components, probably one of the best in fact. Corsair manufactures anything from RAM and LED kits to AIOs and PC cases, there’s not all that much it doesn’t do. Most notably, though, Corsair is known for its fantastic cooling components, one of which being its H-series all-in-one CPU coolers.
Although the H-series AIOs have been around for a while now, Corsair has announced a revised H-series line-up supporting the LGA 1700 and AM5 socket. Not only that, Corsair has decided to bundle these brand new AIO coolers with their top-of-the-line AF ELITE series RGB fans.

Please find a table below of Corsair AIO coolers (including the revised ELITE series) and their specifications.

Corsair wrote in its press release:
“The H100i RGB ELITE, H115i RGB ELITE, and H150i RGB ELITE will be compatible with AM5, the next-generation AMD motherboard socket, which uses the same cooler bracket as AM4. This means there’s no need to purchase new brackets or replace your RGB ELITE cooler when upgrading your system to the upcoming AM5 platform. The RGB ELITE Series also supports LGA 1700 out of the box for cooling the latest Intel 12th Generation Core™ processors, as well as legacy support for LGA 1200, LGA 115x, LGA 2066, and AM4.”
H-series fans
Whilst all of the H-series are affected by this new compatibility upgrade, not all of them will feature new AF ELITE RGB fans. That luxury is reserved for the RGB elite series – the ELITE Capellix and ELITE LCD series will retain their ML RGB and ML RGB ELITE fans respectively.
It’s strange that it took this long for Corsair to add LGA 1700 compatibility to some of its AIO CPU coolers. We assume it’s because other coolers covered the socket and released the new RGB ELITE series with brand new state of the art fans that will bolster sales. Only time will tell. As Corsair adds AM5 and LGA 1700 compatibility to ELITE series coolers, other CPU cooler manufacturers have already
No matter what, we love a good CPU cooler and we look forward to what Corsair has up its sleeve in regards to the new H-series RGB ELITE reboot. You can read more on each of the products Corsair is revamping below:
