The second week of FIFA 22 Pre Season is now out – and after a bumper kick off (albeit a slight delay), which saw a number of Gold-rated Rare players up for grabs as well as 100 special cards, we’re expecting more of the same when week 2 begins.

For those new to Pre Season, EA gives you a chance to start the next game with a load of decent players – that can be unlocked via challenges. These players can be used in the current game, but also carry over to FIFA 23.

So, what can we expect?

Throughout Pre-Season in FUT 22, you’ll have the opportunity to unlock rewards in FUT 23, including Packs, Consumables, Player Loan Items, and more – alongside rewards you’ll earn in FUT 22.

During the this latest week of Pre-Season, you can earn rewards to help get you started in FUT 23. Completing Squad Building Challenges and select Objectives in FUT 22 will unlock the following in FUT 23:

  • Live FUT Friendly Objectives Rewards – Complete Objectives tied to the “Kick Start FUT 23” Live FUT Friendly to earn the following rewards in FUT 23:
    • Kick Starter Pack 3:
      • 3 Rare Gold English Players
      • 3 Rare Gold German Players
      • 3 Rare Gold Argentinian Players
      • 3 Rare Gold Netherlands Players
      • 3 Rare Gold Portuguese Players

  • Warm up to FUT 23 – Complete limited repeatability Squad Building Challenges that refresh every 48 hours three times to complete the Group Objective and earn the following rewards in FUT 23:
    • Warm Up Pack 3:
      • Base Icon Loan Pack x5 Games

Each week will see new challenges to complete, so stay tuned in-game for more details about additional FUT 23 rewards that will be available in the coming weeks of Pre-Season.

All of the rewards earned for FIF 23 are untradeable. It is also worth noting that you cannot take these rewards with you if you change the console you’re playing on.

New SBCs

So far, as part of the first batch, we have seen plenty great players released in SBCs. The new SBCs have celebrated any players who have moved clubs, and the cards are all of a very high standard.

We have seen a Romelu Lukaku available through objectives, whilst Erling Haaland, Renato Sanches, Jules Koundé and more have all been available through SBCs. For people still playing the game, there are some amazing cards still releasing in the game.

Objective: Tanguy Ndombele – 96 Rated – CAM
