We’ve got a Valorant to CS2 sens converter so simple that you could train an ape to do it. Many of you recent Valorant players are no doubt chomping at the bit to get stuck into the new Counter-Strike game/update, and utilising this sensitivity conversion method will minimize the amount of time you need to spend faffing around trying to tweak your settings so they’re just right.

How do I convert Valorant to CS2 sensitivity?

As CS2 is essentially just an updated CS:GO, the sensitivity settings are essentially the exact same, so we can use the same formula (don’t panic) to convert to CS2 as we would to convert to CS:GO from Valorant.

You don’t need a complex converting website to help you turn your Valorant sensitivity to CS2 sensitivity, all you need is to type the following into your search/URL bar in your web browser: [Valorant sensitivity value] * 3.18, press enter and there you have it! The magic of 21st century computation makes it an absolute doddle. You can also type in [CS2 sensitivity value] / 3.18 and press enter to get your Valorant sensitivity back again. Mathematical!

  • Valorant Sensitivity x 3.18 = CS2 Sensitivity
  • CS2 Sensitivity ÷ 3.18 = Valorant Sensitivity

What CS2 sensitivity should I use?

Sensitivity settings in games are to a degree subjective: it depends on what your comfortable with and your particular playstyle. That being said, if you’re serious about improving your competitive edge, there are setups which are preferred by professionals.

Professional players tend to prefer lower sensitivity settings that enable them to have much more precise control over their crosshair placement. The trade-off with this is that you have to really move your mouse some distance IRL to move your view anywhere, which typically means you’ll need a very large mouse mat. It can be an unusual transition for those used to playing with smaller, twitchier movements in games, but once you master it, it does help you to maximize your game.

Generally speaking, most professional Counter Strike players opt for a mouse with 400 DPI, and then they tweak it in-game from there to fit their personal preference.
