Looking for the best RX 6750 XT GPU then we have you covered. The card was part of the AMD RDNA 2 Refresh that brought about an improvement to the lineup and what it had to offer. Aiming to bring some improvements and get the best GPU for your money along with being a great Radeon GPU to opt for.

Pitting itself up against the Nvidia range at the time, like the RX 6750 XT vs RTX 3070, the card improved the memory and clock rates with an MSRP of $549. With the newer RDNA 3 range, it might not be an up-to-date option, but that just means the value has gotten even better as the market price drops further down.

  • More expensive option from selection

ASUS ROG has a well-established format. And the RX 6750 XT Strix is no different. With a combination of great cooling and quality along with greater performance. Pushing it further than others but also making sure it stays there for a long time. But coming at a premium.

So to keep that performance going and the GPU under control, the Strix design uses a 2.9-slot heatsink. Which utilizes a max contact heat plate to remove that heat from the GPU. This is then helped by the several heat pipes to efficiently and quickly move it away. This allows the heat to spread across the maximum surface area for the three axial fans to be removed from the system.

Altogether combines to keep the higher heat generation from the overclocked die. It increases the base clock by 8% from 2,150 MHz to 2,324 MHz. With the game clock increasing by 2% to 2,554 MHz and the boost clock by 1% to 2,623 MHz. Which gives that extra performance increase to the top of the boards.

With a gunmetal shroud, the design may not be for everyone. With dashes of red throughout can be a bit of a clash. Even with the overclocked clock, it can provide some more performance. Although it may come at a cost of sounds and heat.

The build of the card is kept to just two slots. The large aluminium heatsink provides an efficient and great spread of heat. The copper base gives direct contact and provides great transfer along with the memory for the best performance. It is also supported by three fans, two 100mm and one 90mm.

The base clock of the card has been increased by 8%. Up to 2,324 MHz from 2,150 MHz. With the game clock up 2% to 2,554 MHz and the boost clock up 1% to 2,623 MHz. Which also pushes the card up to the top of the range.

Pros
  • Cheaper option
  • Solid build quality
Cons

Combining a smaller size along with good quality cooling and build. It combines a sleek solid material that is built to last, whilst keeping temps down. While keeping up the performance as it should.

The card is designed with a clean brushed backplate that reinforces the whole GPU. With an over two-slot heatsink, it offers a great thermal mass for good cooling. With two Torx 3.0 fans keep the temps under wrap with bigger air pressure passing through the sink. Along with the core pipes and thermal padding that ensure the die thermals are under wraps.

Although not overclocked it still has great performance. With a base clock of 2150 MHz, a game clock of 2495 MHz, and a 2600 MHz boost. And there may be potential for an overclock if you want to push it any further.

  • Good cooling
Cons
  • Large size

Having a great cooling solution allows the Gigabyte card to be pushed further. It not only comes overclocked it also has a great cooling solution to keep the performance up.

Gigabyte utilizes the Winforce 3x coolers system with alternating spinning fans. So five composite copper heat pipes transfer out the die to the longer heatsink. With which the 80mm fans dissipate the heat.

The overclock pushes the base clock up by 6% which sets it to 2283 MHz. Whilst the game clock is up 2% to 2533 MHz, the boost clock is up by 1% to 2623 MHz. Giving the performance increase up to a great degree.

How do we choose the best RX 6750 XT?

Finding the best RX 6750 XT is a long process. With multiple factors to consider when selecting the shortlist from the range of available options. Collating testing results and reviews to find the best for you.

One key factor to consider when choosing a custom card is the cooling solution. This is because it is the reason for your card to keep performing as it should. Keeping the heat of the die down prevents it from thermal throttling and lowering performance. Especially important with the rising TBP of these cards.

Along with our expertise on the subject, we know how previous versions perform and can estimate the new ones. We always want to make sure to only recommend those that we trust and believe to work. Make sure you get the most for your money and get the performance you should. But also offers a range so there is a choice of what you need.

Best RX 6750 XT buying guide

Picking which model of card to pick can be a bit of a confusing choice. There are multiple factors to think about when deciding between different AIBs. All based on the same spec reference card we go through some of the things to consider.

Cooling

To keep up the performance of your graphics card, it needs good cooling. Otherwise, you’ll find the frequencies dropping to save the die from overheating and getting damaged. The TBP hasn’t increased massively over its predecessor so cooling solutions can remain the same.

Kept to air cooling it can vary how large the heatsink is to provide surface area for heat dissipation As well as varying the number of fans on the fan to get that heat away. The number of heat pipes leading from the plate varies to change how well heat is redistributed. Keep those temps down and away from your card.

Size

One other changing factor between choices is how big the size of the graphics card will be. With different cooling solutions, there come different sizes to the choices of cards. As if you’re aiming for a smaller ITX build then you need a smaller option. This means taking a look at the smaller offerings compared to the full-blown coolers.

One thing to consider when deciding on size is how it will affect performance. With a smaller choice, you may find the cooling may not be as effective. Causing overheating or not having the ability to work as well as some of the others. Or even fans have to work harder and louder to achieve the same thing.

Budget

One of the more important factors is the price you will pay for the product itself. You want to be sure not to be overpaying for what you’re getting. As well as making sure you have some leftover money for the rest. For the RX 6750 XT, the MSRP is set to $549 but some AIBs will usually cost more for the extras they offer.

The extra features you may find that a $100-200 hike up is for the custom cooling solution. If the card were to be water-cooled or be bigger it may ask for more. As well as the overclocking out of the factory that offers a few more FPS on top that can call for a higher price.

Understanding the specifications

When looking through the best RX 6750 XT specifications there may be some hard-to-understand terms. So we go through the main ones to help you understand what you’re getting.

  • Clock speeds – the clock speed of the GPU is the frequency of the silicon crystal oscillation. This means how often it flips, and so processing the numbers to produce the graphics you see. So with a higher MHz, the rate is faster to more quickly go through the calculations.
    • Base, boost, game – when specifically looking at AMD Radeon graphic cards, you may find three different options for the clock speed. So the base clock is how fast it runs when doing mundane day-to-day tasks. Whereas game boost is the sustained higher clock when running games or harder tasks. Whereas boost is the maximum potential boost. It uses three to conserve power and prolong life.
  • VRAM – also known as the memory of a GPU is the storage and buffer for textures and pixels. It helps with larger resolutions as they require more pixels so bigger capacities allow for smoother transitions. As well as helping a smoother experience as it buffers frames between the CPU and GPU.
  • TBP – total board power is the maximum amount of energy the graphics card will consume. This is a consideration of how much it costs to run the card. As well as how much heat is generated as it is converted when used to waste energy.

Final word

There you have the Best RX 6750 XT, to help you choose which best fits you. With the refresh, you can experience an improvement in performance and give something new to this aging generation. These options will likely decrease in price with the newer options so it could be a good option if the rest are too expensive.
