How to Take Screenshots and Capture Gameplay on PSVR 2?
The Left PS VR2 Sense controller comes with a Create button that allows you to take screenshots and screen-record your gameplay on PSVR 2. You can press this button to open the Create Menu, using which you can capture your screen without having to leave the VR mode.
The Create Menu also allows you to trim and share videos without having to leave your game. You can capture and share all your iconic gaming moments with your friends while playing video games. However, Share Play is not available in any PSVR 2 games.
Step
Press the create button located next to the analog stick on the left PSVR 2 controller.
If you hold the create button down, it’ll take a screenshot. Double-tapping it will start recording gameplay, double-tapping again will stop the recording
Step
Go to the media tab to view your content
Tap the PS button (the PlayStation logo) once on either controller to be taken to the PS5 menu, then scroll to the media section. Here you’ll find what you saved in step 1. Share it wherever you like!
The Create button performs three different functions in the Standard mode:
- When you press it once, it will open the Create control quick menu.
- When you press and hold the Create button, it will take a screenshot.
- When you press the Create button twice, it will screen-record your gameplay. Double-press it to stop the video recording.
You can also customize the Create button according to your preferences.
The PSVR2 also comes with a new Broadcast feature that you can use to record yourself. However, to use it, you will need to connect a PS5 HD Camera to your PS5 console.
