VIVE XR Elite passthrough mode explained
The VIVE XR Elite comes with a passthrough mode that allows you to view your physical, real-world surroundings while having the headset on. It is a toggleable mode that lets you view your physical surroundings in a passthrough view.
So how to turn on passthrough mode to see your surroundings? Follow the steps below to view your surroundings via the passthrough mode in VIVE XR Elite.
How to turn on passthrough mode in VIVE XR Elite?
- Press the headset button on your VIVE XR Elite twice. The front LED on your headset will light up in red color. You can now view your physical surroundings in the passthrough mode.
- To turn off passthrough mode and get back into the VR world, press the front button on your headset twice, once again. You can also press the VIVE button on your right controller to turn on or turn off the passthrough mode.
That’s how simple it is to get into the passthrough mode on your VIVE XR Elite. However, do note that when you are in passthrough view, you cannot continue your VR experience until you exit the mode.
