As part of its CES 2024 announcements, the new Ryzen APUs were one of the many new products AMD had to show off. A surprise to keep the older generation alive for so long, refreshing to see compared to Intel which changes sockets every couple of years. If you’re keen on getting yourself the new APU, the good news is you don’t have to wait too long to get hands-on with it. The Ryzen 5 5600GT is coming alongside all the other big CPUs launching at the end of the month with all the releases you ever wanted.

AMD has confirmed the Ryzen 5 5600GT will be released on January 31st. This comes alongside the other CPUs AMD announced, such as the Ryzen 8000G series for the new gen, 5700X3D for another AM4 boost, and not long after the RX 7600 XT graphics card as well.

The Ryzen 5 5600GT is offering up a slight upgrade over the 5600G. It comes with incremental changes, that supposedly offer a couple of percent improvements across the board. It comes with the following specs.

Ryzen 5 5600GT price

Since the platform is older and not getting much more after it, the APU is coming in with a low price. The 5600GT is coming in with a $140 recommended retail price. Of course that might be different where you buy your processors, but should provide a good lower price upgrade or option for some.
