What might have seen the 14th Gen not too long ago, but now it’s time for Intel’s Arrow Lake release date rumors. The successor to the Raptor Lake refresh is expected to bring a big change with the socket and size. In that case, we look at all the leaks and potential info on the 15th-gen CPUs that might be bringing a new naming scheme as well.

Providing some of the best CPUs for gaming, Intel has a lot of performance to offer. Although the 14th Gen release might have not been too exciting, this generation might just bring something refreshing and new. It might just yet provide a strong competition against AMD processors.

Intel Arrow Lake release date speculation

Now Intel Arrow Lake is the next-generation release from Intel. Although possible it could be named the Core Ultra 200 series much like the Meteor Lake mobile processors that were released at the end of 2023. The change was intended to simplify the process of identifying the power level more easily but the name changes can still be confusing.

Either way, the next generation of Intel Arrow Lake processors, 15th Gen or Core Ultra 200, is rumored to be announced at Computex 2024. As VideoCardz reports, Pate Gelsinger the CEO of Intel, is meant to be appearing as a keynote speaker there. He is expected to talk about next-generation data centers and client computing and bringing AI everywhere since the processors are expected to bring neural processing for such workloads to the table.

That means we expect to see the Arrow Lake announced on June 4th with the actual release coming in the following weeks. As its been long rumored to come in the second half of 2024.

Arrow Lake spec rumors

Videocardz has collated the latest leaks and rumors on what Intel Arrow Lake specs might just feature. There are plenty of claims about what they might be but there is still uncertainty about it. It would be only at the announcement of the processors that we might get the actual specifications of what the CPUs will have to offer and these should be taken with a pinch of salt.

  • Name: Core i Ultra series 2
  • Hyper-threading: None
  • CPU node: Intel 20A
  • Big core arch: Lion cave
  • Small core arch: Skymont
  • Graphics arch: 4 Xe-LPG cores
  • Memory: DDR5
  • CPU cores: No low power efficiency, replaced by NPU with performance

Currently, it seems the processors will be moving away from efficiency cores and instead focusing on AI processing. Integrating the feature directly on the die like what Meteor Lake introduced also offers an efficient performance to go with the performance cores. But it will also be integrating Intel Arc Xe graphics cores for its video output for a bit more power in that department.

It also seems to be moving on from DDR4 support and might just be focusing on DDR5 instead as it moves on as AMD did with its AM5 platform. Along with improvements to the node it is being made on as Intel’s own foundry moves to 20A for a smaller and denser build.

What socket is Arrow Lake CPU?

Once again Intel looks to be moving nodes. We expect the Intel 15th Gen socket to be LGA 1851. That would come as an enlargement to the 1700 option currently in use. It comes with an extra 151 pins and a 0.05mm deeper socket according to the specifications. There’s no doubt we can expect the best motherboards for the next generation to fit the Arrow Lake processors in them.

What is Arrow Lake Intel?

Intel Arrow Lake is expected to be the next generation of CPUs. What would be the 15th Gen selection it might be called the Core Ultra 200 series instead. It is expected to come with a wide range of improvements and changes compared to the previous 14th Gen. It will be on a new socket type and be built on a new process node.
