Acer Predator X45 vs Corsair Flex: Specifications
Corsair Xeneon Flex

Response time
0.03ms GtG
Resolution
3440 x 1440
Screen size
45″
To start it off, Acer Predator X45 sports an extravagant 800R curvature, which means it’s so curvy it could be one of the Kardashian sisters. It’s got a 45-inch display with a 4K resolution of 3440×1440 pixels. And get this, it’s an OLED panel with HDR10 support and a peak brightness of 1000 nits! Colors that try to jump out of display and brightness that makes the Sun pale, that is exactly what Acer promises to deliver us in the Predator X45.
The Predator X45 also covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, which means your games are gonna look hella good. Plus, with a refresh rate of 240Hz and a response time of 0.01ms, you’ll have to make an effort to miss a beat. And if you’re worried about blue light, chill out. Acer Predator X45 is EyeSafe-certified, so you won’t have to sacrifice your eyesight for your gaming addiction (respectfully).
Now let’s talk about the Corsair Flex. This 45-inch monitor is the leader of the bendable monitor revolution, ready to be bent and twisted to your heart’s content, from completely flat to the 800R the Predator X45 sports. Need to work from a weird angle? No problem! The Flex has got you covered. You can literally choose whether you want your monitor to be curved or not.
CorsairFlex also has a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels, which is pretty cool for a monitor that can contort itself into a pretzel. It’s got a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.3ms response time, slower than the Predator X45, but only on paper. And just like the Acer’s monster, Corsair Flex also has eye-care measures that prevent your eyeballs from setting on fire.
Acer Predator X45 vs Corsair Flex: Performance
We can’t talk performance yet, as Acer Predator is just expected to be released somewhere in Q2 2023. Corsair Flex, though, is absolutely amazing. It’s well known for its tremendous gaming prowess. Corsair says it can be bent around 10,000 times and gives a three-year warranty against burn-in, which is nothing short of great. We can’t wait to see those two in action near one another!
Acer Predator X45 vs Corsair Flex: Price
The announced cost of Acer Predator X45 is $1699, while the Corsair Flex goes for a lofty $1999. All considered, the monitors are pretty similar in specifications – it’s the bend that adds the leftover $300 to the Flex. But in our opinion, it’s absolutely worth it. If that’s the price of having a curve toggle on our monitor, we’d pay it every day of the week.
Acer Predator X45 vs Corsair Flex: Which is best
It’s difficult to say which monitor is better, as they rock similar specifications and one of them has not even been released yet. But in our opinion, Corsair Flex will probably still just beat the Acer Predator X45, despite the higher cost.
