We just posted about how a 16GB model had fallen in price to around the 8GB model price, but we’ve found that there are 8GB models also available for cheaper. It might be a Leap Day deal or it might just be Gigabyte trying to move some stock, but it certainly makes the GPU just that slight bit more appealing.

As of now, the Gigabyte RTX 4060 Ti Eagle OC 8GB is available for $349, considering it is an overclocked model it has fallen way below the launch price of the 4060 Ti since it came out just under a year ago. It does come closer to the price of the RX 7600 XT so makes it a bit more of a better value choice.

Black Friday is back, and with it comes huge savings on some of the market’s most popular gaming and tech products. We’ll be covering all the best deals in more details over in our deals hub, but if you haven’t got time to read through those, why not see our top picks below.

Is the 4060 Ti 8GB a good deal?

As we saw in our 4060 Ti review the graphics card is a hard sell at its price, and that was a big consideration to what dropped its score. But the price drop certainly makes it a better pick out of the lot. Especially considering how the 7600 XT vs 4060 Ti compare it does make it the better pick at the price point.

This Nvidia GPU still offers a strong performance as we found in our test. Easily achieving hundreds of FPS at 1080p, but also pushing 1440p with light adjustments in certain games then you can get a strong budget GPU for the job with a 4060 Ti. Especially considering that the card also features frame generation and efficiency improvements of the Ada architecture so you can enjoy DLSS 3 at a cheaper price.

There is of course a limit of 8GB of memory so it can be a bit more of a hard choice, but it still is a top contender as it still runs things well. Consider lowering quality to improve frame rates as well as any upscaling to help with the performance as this is the likely state of the GPU market these days.

What the 4060 Ti 8GB has to offer
