Manually connecting to a WiFi network or connecting to a closed network

This step is required to connect your iPad to a secured private network. As the network you are trying to connect to is a private network, it won’t show up on the normal WiFi list. You will have to manually enter the network and password for it. Let’s take a look at the steps.

5. Select “Others” from the bottom of the wireless networks. 
6. Type the name of the network in the dialog box.
7. Select the appropriate security option from the list. The list includes WEP, WPA, WPA2/WPA3, WPA3, WPA Enterprise, WPA2 Enterprise, and WPA3 Enterprise. 
8. Go to the password and enter the correct password for that closed network.
9. Tap on “Join”.
