A lot of cool tech can be found at the world-renowned event, so what are the best gaming laptops at Computex 2023? There are a range of options to look for if it’s an Intel or AMD-based device. Or a more creative option with some capabilities for multi-usage.

Although they might not be the biggest head turners of the event, they sure do offer a solid base for usage. You could end up modding your selection and find the best mods for your choice of device or enjoy what the differing mods can achieve.

Best gaming laptop at Computex with an Intel CPU

First on the list is the Acer Predator Triton 16. Scheduled for September, the top-spec option is going to feature an RTX 4070 laptop GPU and be in the Intel 13th Gen range. It does not yet have an expected weight but should be fairly thin at least for the gaming laptop range.

For cooling it will have the 5th Gen AeroBlad 3D fans, vortex flow tech, and liquid metal grease found in the previous Acer Predator Helios Neo 16. It will come at the price of 1,799.99 USD or €2,299.99 in the EMEA. And below you can find more details on the specs of the laptop.

Best gaming laptop at Computex with an AMD CPU

For Team Red, there is the option of the MSI Alpha 17 to look forward to. It comes with a Ryzen 7000 series laptop CPU and the most powerful one at it. It features the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX, and you have the option for either an RTX 4060 laptop or RTX 4070 laptop GPU. We do have to remember aren’t quite comparable to the discrete graphics cards and should have the M modifier anyway.

The laptop also comes with quite new and future proof connectivity, with the addition of WiFi 7 standard. Although that might not be common for quite some time, it should last you. Additionally with USB C for display and charging, along with three A ports, mini-DP, one HDMI, and a 3.5mm combo jack it does improve what’s on offer compared to some options.

Best multi purpose laptop at Computex

Now for a more slim and creative-focused laptop, you can find the Acer Swift Edge 16. Although it might not be gaming-focused it will still have the power and specs to do it. As the device hasn’t got a dedicated graphics card, but rather an iGPU with the AMD Ryzen 7040 processor. These have been improving, as we have seen in the Switch or ROG Ally, and the most powerful option will feature the Radeon 780M graphics.

The laptop comes with a 16″ OLED screen, with a peak brightness of 500 nits and it also reaches 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and a 0.2ms response time. These are certainly targeting creatives if it’s photo or video editing, but it should be reviewed first to verify. You can expect to be in July with a price of $1,299/€1,199/£1,299.
