So, now that everyone’s in a tizz about it, we thought we’d take a look at when your PSVR 2 pre order might actually arrive at your door, careless delivery drivers notwithstanding.

It’s a valid question too, as the humble disc has declined in popularity, digital; downloads have taken the helm for video games, and you can pre-load those. This means that after the minor verification update you can play, often seconds after release.

Unfortunately, we are at least 2 years away from teleportation technology hitting the mainstream, so you’re still at the mercy of couriers for physical items, like the PSVR 2. Additionally, the PSVR 2 was only available from the official PlayStation store at. Unless you’re Canadian, which is weird.

Anyway, continuing their trend of very un-corporate-like helpfulness, Sony has actually given some guidance on when the pre orders will arrive. Of course, there is much at play here that no one can control, so take it all with a CS:GO player’s amount of salt.

PSVR 2 shipping date: When will my PSVR 2 arrive?

Well, according to the product page on the official PlayStation store website, the PSVR “Delivers February 22nd – 28th, 2023”. This is the same for the US and UK product pages.

Anyway, given that the arrival range includes the release date, it’s safe to say that Sony starting to ship the PSVR 2 a day or two before the release date, thus ensuring as many as possible will arrive on the 22nd of February.

Additionally, according to a quick Twitter search using the PSVR2 hashtag, we can see a fair amount of people have already received their shiny new VR experience.

PSVR 2 release time: Is the PSVR 2 out yet?

Yes, as of the 22nd of February, the PSVR 2 is out and available to buy! Though it’s odd to talk about the release time for a physical object, it’s something people want to know anyway.
