February 22, 2023; Sony is prepared to launch PSVR 2, offering 4K virtual gaming for its users. PSVR 2 is highly advanced and comes with a PSVR 2 headset and PSVR 2 sense controllers. It is expected to have a large variety of games, which will be released in the upcoming months after the release, accordion to Sony.

Can The PSVR 2 Be Used On PC?
The answer is YES, but mostly NO. It can be connected to a PC by a single USB-C cable, but you will not have access to all its features because it can only be connected as a second monitor. To use the PSVR 2 advanced features, you will require a PS5, as it only works with the Play Station 5 consoles.
We don’t know if Sony will ever make it compatible with a PC. The company denied any progress for the PSVR 2 to be used with a PC. The main idea for PSVR 2 is to be sold as an add-on for PS5. To use a PSVR 2, you must have PS5, as it is only compatible with this console. Right now, they are only focused on releasing it for this device.
However, some claim there will be a solution for Steam VR, such as the Trinus or iVRy driver. But implementing such solutions will be extremely difficult since the software of the PSVR 2 is unbreachable. We’re not likely to experience the PSVR 2 on PC in the coming years, but PC gamers hope this will change soon.
What happens if you plug a PSVR 2 into a PC
We didn’t expect anything to happen, but yes, the PSVR 2 can be used as another monitor. However, there is no official support for use as a VR headset as of yet.

In the future, it might be possible. For now, it can only be used as a makeshift second screen.
