Rebecca is a writer with a passion for video games and a strong background in acting, directing, and script analysis. She has been working as a writer for BGFG since May 2023, where she uses her skills to create engaging and informative articles about video games. Her previous experience as an actress and director has given her the ability to analyse gameplay and news critically, and she is able to form well-researched opinions that are both interesting and informative. She is also an experienced PC builder, with a detailed knowledge of PC setups and system requirements.
Rebecca grew up in a small town in the Lake District, where she developed a love for all things fantasy. This passion led her to discover acting, cosplay, and writing. She is a talented world builder and runs several long-standing table top RPG sessions. Her magical outlook on the world is reflected in her game play choices and her passion for video games. Her favourite games include RuneScape, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Subnautica, The Witcher Series, Pharaoh + Cleopatra, Baldur's Gate, and Far Cry 4.
Rebecca was formally educated at the Liverpool Media Academy (LMA), where she earned her Bachelor of Arts with honours in Acting, Script Analysis, and Performance. She is also one of a small select number of people who completed an accredited course through the Royal Shakespeare Company in the Analysis, Performance, and Historical Presentations of Much Ado About Nothing and its Cultural Significance.
