Nickmercs says this mode was exactly what Warzone needed

New updates and Season 3 Reloaded have brought players back into ranked play for Call of Duty MW2 and Warzone 2, Streamer Nickmercs talks about how some of the new modes that Activision added have led to him “Having a good time playing CoD” in one of his newest videos.

New modes and updating Call of Duty

Ranked play for Battle Royale in Warzone has finally been added and according to Nickmercs, it is “exactly what Warzone needed” to boost the community of players. With a new Call of Duty release in our sights, it’s no surprise that fans are starting to get back into ranked and general play, if only to practice their skills ahead of an addition to the franchise.

With Infinity Ward adding this new mode and other exciting extras in the Season 3 Reloaded update, they have given Warzone 2 and MW2 fans fun new reasons to continue on through the end of this season and beyond. This was something he mentioned that Warzone needed more than a year ago when he was a frequent player, and it seems he feels he was right.

Battle Royale has a max player count of 150 in each game, which when it’s a ranked game, seems like there is going to be a huge variation on the skill level of play you come up against. Does this mean you will be matched against players who are higher level and will give you the chance to climb the ranks?

Nickmercs goes on to say that he “Kind of likes that there is something to play for now” with this Ranked update of Battle Royale in Warzone. Any time ranking is added to a game like this, it gives players a sense of goal and achievement, even for players who may not want to play for the rankings and just play for the fun of the game.
