What to look for in a Black Friday Dell XPS deal?
The best deals are likely to come directly from Dell itself. Last year, the PC giant dropped $300 off the XPS 15, bringing the asking price to just north of $1000. We expect similar price cuts this year. Another way to grab a great deal is to look out for older Dell XPS 15 models, notably the 2019 version in various specifications. Compared to the latest models, these ever-so-slightly lower-specced machines benefit from heavier discounts with very little in terms of performance loss.
To give a sense of the savings available on older models, Dell offered the full-fat 2020 XPS 15 alongside a meager $70 off last year. Not much to write home about when dealing with sums north of $1500, especially compared to hundreds of dollars shaved off the 2019 models. So, keep a trained eye on the market, as you will not want to miss out on a fantastic deal.
