Fortnite’s secret quest grants quick and easy XP
With the release of Chapter 4 – Season 3, Epic Games added a jungle to the island. The new biome is exciting, which is why many players have spent the past few days exploring it. Thanks to this, many have discovered a secret Fortnite quest.
The quest can be completed in less than a minute, yet it grants 20,000 XP. You cannot find the secret quest anywhere in the game, but it will automatically trigger once you complete the first step of it.
To complete the secret Fortnite quest, here are the steps you need to take:
- Head over to the Apparatus
- Interact with the prism on the ground floor of the temple
- Talk to Trace, an NPC located at the top of the temple
If you’re struggling to locate the prism, pay attention to the exclamation mark on your minimap. The NPC is also marked with a speech bubble.
The Apparatus is a new landmark located east of Rumble Ruins. It’s a temple and is a decent landing spot since it has approximately 10 chests, a couple of ammo boxes, and a lot of floor loot.
As soon as you talk to the NPC, the quest will be marked as completed and you will receive 20,000 XP. Considering that each level requires 80,000 XP, this simple task will help you gain a quarter of a level.
