Grind Rails arrived in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, and they are still available in the game for players to ride. They are extremely useful as they can help you quickly travel from one point to another. In this guide, we are going to talk about how to travel distance while grinding in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3.

How can I travel a distance on Grind Rails in Fortnite?

First, you need to look for a Grind Rail. Don’t worry; they aren’t difficult to locate and can be found at multiple spots. Some of the locations include Shattered Slabs, Mega City, and Slappy Shores. Once you’ve spotted a neon rail, run and jump on it. Your character will then automatically start riding the rails.

To complete a challenge, you will need to travel a distance of 500m on the rails. Completing it will reward you with 20,000 XP.

Now, a distance of 500m isn’t that much, considering this can be achieved in only a few seconds. While on the rails, you can use the forward movement button to accelerate, while the backward movement button will slow you down. Furthermore, you can also use your weapons or other items while on the rails, so they won’t limit you.

One thing to keep in mind is that even though you will need to spend only a couple of seconds on the Grind Rails to complete the challenge, your enemies will be able to see you easily and will start shooting as soon as they find an opening. Therefore, make sure you aren’t trying to complete the challenge in a crowded area.

After the challenge is completed, you will get a notification on the screen. When that happens, you can either continue to ride the rails or jump off them to move on to other tasks.
