The second Fortnite x The Witcher collaboration was just released. Epic Games added Yennefer and Ciri to the popular video game, along with many other cosmetic items. While most of the items can be purchased from the Item Shop, some are available for free.
Like with the first collaboration, Epic has released several free items players can earn. Another similarity is that, once again, Fortnite players need to complete specific tasks in the Creative mode to unlock these rewards.
If you’re not sure how to earn these free Witcher items in Fortnite, this guide will explain it.
Is it possible to unlock Witcher skins in Fortnite for free?
Ciri and Yennefer look amazing, and many players love their designs. Unfortunately, these skins are exclusive to the Item Shop, meaning that you will have to buy them for V-Bucks. However, you can unlock two emoticons that each of these characters has.
Here are the two free Witcher items in Fortnite and how you can unlock them:
- Annoyed Yennefer emoticon – Reach the elimination goal in Yennefer’s Battleground
- Confident Ciri emoticon – Complete the parkour course in Ciri’s Escape
Yennefer’s Battleground is a deathmatch-type Creative map designed by TeamUnitedFN. To complete the challenge, you will have to go inside the Creative mode with this code 2862-9616-5689 and reach the elimination goal.
Ciri’s Escape map can be accessed with the code 2776-4034-8400.
If you’re not sure how to enter these codes and use them to unlock free Witcher items in Fortnite, here are the steps you need to take:
- Open the Game Mode Selection menu
- Switch to the Island Code tab
- Enter the map code
- Press the Play button
Please keep in mind that these cosmetic items will be available for a limited time. According to reputable Fortnite leakers, you have until July 5 to unlock them. After this, the items will no longer be available and may never return to the game.
