Five new Fortnite weapons were released in Chapter 4 – Season 3. While many players are still learning how to use them, some veteran players are already dominating with these new guns. This includes Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, a popular streamer.
Ninja has played the video game since it was released and knows the ins and outs of it. He’s used hundreds of different weapons over the past five years, but the latest gun has gotten his attention.
The Fortnite streamer believes that the gun is a problem since it’s very powerful.
New Fortnite weapon is capable of dealing massive damage
With the release of the new Fortnite Battle Royale season, Epic Games added the FlapJack Rifle. While this weapon is classified as an assault rifle, it’s almost identical to the Light Machine Gun, a popular weapon from the first chapter of the video game.
Ninja loved using the LMG a few years ago, which is why it’s no surprise that he carries the new rifle in his inventory. He believes that the FlapJack Rifle is a problem, and he demonstrated its power by getting a 15-elimination game.

The new Fortnite weapon is a high-capacity rifle that comes in every single rarity. Its Mythic rarity, the Enhanced FlapJack Rifle, is especially amazing since it deals a lot of damage and has a much shorter reload time.
While the weapon is supposed to be used for suppressive fire, its reload is good enough to make it hit medium-range shots on a nearly consistent basis. At its lowest rarity, the weapon deals 25 damage per shot, which makes it almost unstoppable.
Here are the stats for the Common (Gray) variant of the FlapJack Rifle:
- Damage: 25
- Fire rate: 6.2
- Magazine size: 45
- Reload time: 3.85 seconds
- DPS: 155
The Mythic version of the weapon, which Ninja obtained later in the game, deals 32 damage per shot and has a reload time of only 2.97 seconds, which is nearly 25% shorter than the reload time of the basic variant.
The popular Fortnite streamer used the FlapJack Rifle to dominate the lobby, despite dying to the last player. Ninja also used the Drum Shotgun, another incredible weapon that was unvaulted in Chapter 4 – Season 3.
