Some players miss this POI the most in new Fortnite season

With the Summer Games Fest having shown the trailer for the new season of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 yesterday, fans are buzzing about everything that is to come to the game. Not only are they hyped for the new content, but fans don’t even have to wait much longer since the new season begins today.
However, this does mean it is the last day for Fortnite MEGA, so fans are hustling to wrap up everything they need before jumping into the next Fortnite event. Many fans are sad to see MEGA City go as they felt there was still so much to be done before its departure, but maybe the developers will bring it back for another run later on.
MEGA City leaves Fortnite today
MEGA City is some players’ favorite location in Fortnite to date, as it is a giant modern-style city that is supposed to resemble Tokyo, and it does a good job of it. The location has a futuristic style with bright neon colors that pop off the darkness of the map. It also features cars and motorcycles.
Reddit user Miller187uk says how they cannot help but think that Mega City hadn’t reached its full potential yet before it was time for it to make its farewell. In another Reddit post, a user goes on to express how they just recently returned to Fortnite during Mega City but didn’t seem to have much time with it. Players will definitely miss this map, but hopefully, the community can convince them to bring it back at a later date.
With this location leaving Fortnite to make way for the new Fortnite WILD theme, featuring a jungle temple, there are some tasks that players are grinding through in the meantime.

- Complete All of the Syndicate Quests!
- Get All of the Super Styles!
- Finish the Battle Pass Strong
- If you’re done, then it’s time to go to Fortnite WILD
If players have already finished all the MEGA City tasks, they can go ahead and dive into Fortnite WILD, while some players might disregard it, players who are determined to finish each battle pass will want to complete the above tasks before moving on to the next.
