Epic Games has been known to introduce popular movie franchises to Fortnite. Over the years since the release of the game, countless franchises like Ghostbusters and Marvel. Heck, even Star Wars, one of the most popular franchises of all time, has appeared in the game.
The newest season of Fortnite is called Wilds and it brings with it even more crossover opportunities. Each trailer has revealed insane information about what everyone can expect to run into when combing the new jungle that has sprung up on the map. Fans on Reddit, however, are more focused on one franchise bringing in new skins.
Is Jurassic Park coming to Fortnite?
It isn’t a surprise that more movie and game franchises are crossing over into the realm of Fortnite. During the trailers for Chapter 4 – Season 3, there are many franchises that are openly shown as being involved in the game. Jurassic Park, on the other hand, has only been eluded to through the use of raptors.
Anyone who has seen Jurassic Park knows that raptors play a large role in the franchise. This has prompted Reddit user AwesomeGames23 to pose the question as to whether or not the Jurassic Park skins could be a mid-season drop.
The user points out the reference to the movies when the characters in the trailer fall into the raptor den and are surrounded by eggs. This is reminiscent of the popular scene from Jurassic Park 3 when Alan Grant uses the raptor trachea to escape.
As one commenter pointed out, “the movie is turning 30 this year so it would make sense.” A mid-season collab would be a great way to the movie’s 30th anniversary. This could be the time to do something big for the franchise that could be celebrated by multiple generations.
And of course, the potential skins are hard to pass up. Multiple comments want an Ian Malcolm skin, “Want a topless Jeff goldblum skin,” a commenter put it. It was one of Jeff Goldblum’s best movies, so we can see it.
