If you’re enjoying making your way through the amazing vistas Mexico has to offer in Forza Horizon 5 but aren’t exactly satisfied with the wheels you’re doing it in, you’re going to need to add some more cars to your garage.
Luckily, there is an abundance of cars available in Forza Horizon 5 but you need to have a fat wallet in order to pick the ones you want up. Thankfully, Playground Games has introduced an Auction House where you can buy and sell cars in order to come up with the funds to do so rather than having to do races over and over again.
But, how do you get to the point where you can sell your cars and also buy new ones? Well, let’s talk about that right now.
How to sell cars in Forza Horizon 5
If you want to add more funds to your Forza Horizon 5 account, you can utilize the Auction House to do so. This works through a bidding system
- Go to a Horizon Festival Outpost
- Press the LB button on your Xbox controller
- Locate the Buy & Sell option at the top of your screen and click it
- Hit Auction House and press Start Auction
- Choose the car you want to sell from your current collection
- Determine the starting and buyout price you want for your car and decide on an auction time length
- Hit confirm to list your car for selling
Now all you have to do is wait for your car to sell. Once it does, you should have the money immediately to then go and buy new cars.
How to buy cars in Forza Horizon 5
If you’ve sold off some of your precious car collection or simply have the cash to splurge on a shiny new model, you’re probably going to need to know how to buy cars. The process for buying is similar to that of selling but you have to go into a different section so let’s go through all the steps again.
- Go to a Horizon Festival Outpost
- Press the LB button on your Xbox controller
- Locate the Buy & Sell option at the top of your screen and click it
- Choose whether you want to buy a new car using the Autoshow function or a used motor via the Auction House
- Find your desired car and purchase it
