Summit Shaper is a limited five-star Sword which many players believe will be making a reappearance either during Hu Tao’s rerun banner or in Genshin Impact 2.3. This is due to rumours of Albedo, a limited five-star character, having a rerun banner at the beginning of version 2.3. Where to find Summit Shaper Ascension materials in Genshin Impact

Luminous Sands, Lustrous Stone, Relic and Divine Body From Guyun are obtained by completing the Domain of Forgery: Thundercloud Alter every Monday, Thursday and Sunday.

Hunter’s, Agent’s and Inspector’s Sacrificial Knives are obtained by defeating Fatui Agents, which can be found all over Teyvat.

Damaged, Stained and Ominous Masks can be obtained by defeating Hilichurls, Ranged Hilichurls, Samachurls and Large Hilichurls, which can be found all over Teyvat.

Summit Shaper Stats

Summit Shaper starts with 46 Base ATK and A 10.8% ATK substat. At Level 90, these stats become 608 Base ATK and 49.6% ATK, giving it a Base ATK on par with that of Skyward Blade and Freedom-Sworn, and therefore the second highest Base ATK of any Sword in Genshin Impact.

The in-game weapon effect description:

Increases Shield Strength by 20%. Scoring hits on opponents increases ATK by 4% for 8s. Max 5 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3s. While protected by shield, this ATK increase effect is increased by 100%.

Summit Shaper Refinement

In Genshin Impact, you can Refine a weapon by feeding it an identical weapon to itself, which increases some of the weapon’s effects in turn. With each Refinement of Summit Shaper the Shield Strength bonus increases, as well as the ATK bonus granted by scoring hits on opponents.

Best Characters to use Summit Shaper in Genshin Impact

With the high ATK this Catalysts bestows, as well as its passive skill which increases consistent auto attack DMG, it’s a great option for DPS characters such as Albedo, Keqing and Ayaka. It’s particularly good on Albedo as his Elemental Skill constantly creates shields via Crystallize, meaning his ATK will always be boosted. To maximise the ATK increase you should have a shield character on your team if you don’t have Albedo: Zhongli and Diona are both great candidates for this role.
