Here’s how to summon golems in Diablo 4 on PC/Console. Diablo 4 has launched for those who bought the early access editions. The period will last few days including the weekend prior to the rest getting access next week.

While players will be building out their necromancer builds an ability such as summoning golems can be tricky at first but with our hands on the game now we’ll go through how to summon golems on Diablo 4 here. Prior to this however, it’s important to understand that the Golem unlocks at ability 25if you’re under the ability level then unfortunately you won’t be able to summon it. You will also need to complete the Necromancer: Call of the Underworld quest, this is hard to avoid as it becomes an important quest once you reach ability 25.

Also quite noticeably, Golems can only be summoned if you’re using the necromancer class, so don’t be surprised if you can’t do this on any other class! Now that’s been addressed, here are the three golems you need to be aware of:

  • Bone golems
  • Iron golems
  • Blood golems

How to summon golems in Diablo 4 on PC and Console

Summoning Golems can be tricky, but once you get the hang of it – it’s pretty simple.

Here are some quick and easy tips to summon golems in Diablo 4:

  • Head to your submenu in Diablo 4 by pressing ‘S’ on your PC or hover over the ability at the bottom of your screen
  • If you have unlocked Golems, you should see them at the bottom of the menu
  • Drag it to your active skill bar and you can summon Golems.

Just to remember, Golems have passive and active abilities and it’s passive state Golems can attack for 143 damage and shed corpses as it takes damage.

In it’s active state, Golems are much more efficient however come at the price of a 15 second cooldown. In it’s active state however – Golems take up to 30% reduced damage so they become a little more tank-y and extra survivability as you discover different sanctuaries.
