This is part of our ongoing Pokemon Legends: Arceus guide series, with everything to do with the game and more – including Pokemon Go – all living in our dedicated hubs for the games

You laugh, but this was the single longest period of time I spent on anything in this game. Three Bidoofs cause some trouble and you’re now sent to go hunt them down in the village.

The problem is, not one NPC will give you a hint and they’re small, brown creatures that blend in with the scenery pretty well. But not all is lost, as me and my partner spent the better part of an hour hunting them down and don’t want you to feel the same pain that we did as you start your adventure.

First, make sure you have a Bidoof in your party, as it’s a prerequisite for actually approaching the Bidoof. You don’t need to throw it into them, just walk and the cutscene will start.

You’ll find the Bidoof in the following locations in Jubilife Village:

  • Follow the Pasture’s fence all the way down and in the very corner by a hill, you’ll find a Bidoof sat facing away from you
  • Across from where they’re ploughing land on the farm, you’ll find a row of houses. The Bidoof is located hiding behind a fence.
  • For the most irritating one… Go back to the quest giver and then turn to follow the small row of shops beside them, up from the item box. Next to the building with a house marking on it on the map, there’s a small alcove, which is where you’ll find a completely blended in Bidoof.

You’ll never want to look at a Bidoof again. I never want to write it out again.
