Are you looking to snag yourself the latest iPhone this Summer? You might want to think again if you already own an iPhone 14. According to an apparent ex-Apple employee, the phones are basically the same with a few minor changes. An apparent ex-Apple employee claims the iPhone 14 and 15 are the same phone.

Following the recent Apple event where the iPhone 15 was revealed, this ex-Apple employee had something to say about some of the products announced.

An ex-Apple employee on TikTok claims the iPhone 14 and 15 are the same

A TikToker by the name of Tyler Morgan (@hitomidocameraroll) makes regular videos claiming to be an ex-Apple employee and reviewing several of the company’s products, presumably after any sort of NDA.

Tyler’s recent video is himself reviewing the Apple event that was held yesterday to announce the iPhone 15, among other things.

Tyler called the event “the most disappointing event I have seen” before tearing some of the new Apple products on display a new one.

The main event, the iPhone 15 pro, Tyler claims is “the iPhone 14 pro in Titanium” Essentially saying that they are the same phone. So it might be smart to hold off on purchasing the iPhone 15 if you already have something close to it.

There were other things mentioned in the Apple event that Tyler didn’t say anything bad about, the new action button and the ray-tracing capabilities of the new iPhone being two of those things.

I know what you might be thinking, “This Tyler could be anyone, he could just be saying he’s ex-Apple” – And that may be the case. However, we found a LinkedIn profile of the same name, with a similar-looking person in the picture which states “specialist at Apple INC”

Although not conclusive proof that Tyler is who he says he is, it’s certainly something in his favor.
