Having good Fortnite controller settings is essential for hitting your shots consistently. Epic Games hasn’t made big changes to controller settings recently. Due to this, most older settings are still active in Chapter 4 – Season 3 and haven’t been modified.

If you struggle to hit your shots, this article will list some of the best Fortnite controller settings. However, keep in mind that you will need to practice a lot with these settings. But once you get used to them, you’ll be able to dominate your opponents easily.

Before you change your settings, don’t forget to save them by taking their screenshots.

These Fortnite controller settings are perfect for aiming

Finding perfect controller settings in Fortnite can be quite tricky since there are many different options. On top of this, some controller settings only affect building, while others affect your aim and shooting skills.

These settings are great for hitting consistent shots with weapons, making them perfect for Zero Build modes. With enough practice, you will be able to even hit consistent medium-range shots with the FlapJack Rifle.

To change your Fortnite controller settings, open the Main Menu and go to Settings, then switch to the Controller Options tab.

Here are the settings you need to use:

  • Look Sensitivity: 4 (Normal)
  • Aim Sensitivity (ADS): 4 (Normal)
  • Use Advanced Options: On
  • Look Horizontal Speed: 43%
  • Look Vertical Speed: 43%
  • Turning Horizontal Boost: 0%
  • Turning Vertical Boost: 0%
  • Turning Boost Ramp Time: 0.00 seconds
  • ADS Look Horizontal Speed: 10%
  • ADS Look Vertical Speed: 10%
  • ADS Turning Horizontal Boost: 0%
  • ADS Turning Vertical Boost: 0%
  • ADS Turning Boost Ramp Time: 0.00 seconds
  • Look Dampening Time: 0.00 seconds
  • Look Input Curve: Linear
  • Aim Assist Strength: 100%
  • Left Stick Deadzone: 6%
  • Right Stick Deadzone: 6%

When it comes to key binds, you should pick whatever you are most comfortable with.

Additionally, we suggest that you join a Fortnite Creative map with the aim practice. If you can’t get used to these settings after a few days of practice, try to slightly adjust them.
