Fortnite players debate best loot path

Fortnite is a battle royale game that puts a ton of people on one island with a closing cycle system. Unlike Call of Duty, which gives a basic pistol when starting the battle, Fortnite forces players to go and find their first weapon in order to survive. This means players will need to loot nearby houses and other locations.

One Fortnite player recently took to Reddit to share some of their own favorite areas to loot within the game, sharing some images with a path line so players know exactly which locations to stop at.

With this player sharing the maps of their favorite looting paths, it has players discussing further where they like to loot and how. Below is the Reddit post displaying the images discussed.

Many players in the comments agree about how these routes are ones they themselves also take, but it seems people who are higher in rank don’t end in these places, but they don’t share any further insight on where those players lead.

Personally, these paths are pretty good, while the first one does take players through the water, and another takes players over a mountain. As long as players are ready for that terrain, they are some good paths to start with.

This player displays on Reddit what they consider to be some really good solo lootpaths for ranked battles in Fortnite. Another player comments below and says, “Nah. I’m just landing in bastion and wrecking it all for the chests and vault. Stay out of my way,” then posts a Hulk gif with their comment.

Some players thanked the maker of the maps for showing where vehicles are, which can help players make a quick getaway if needed. Another commenter shares some insight on how they level up quickly in ranked by saying, “From what I noticed, the best way to climb in ranked is getting 1-2 kills off spawn. Waiting till top 50 and then keying. I’ve gotten around 30-80% using this strat.”
