Considering that the island has more than 10 chests in a small area, a lot of players try to get to it as soon as possible. Besides this, the island also has a capture point that grants several high-quality items, including the Mythic Drum Shotgun.
One Fortnite player recently found a way to hide from enemies on Loot Island while also capturing it and getting fantastic loot!
It’s possible to hide in plain sight on Fortnite’s Loot Island
Loot Island is one of the most amazing landmarks in the game. It spawns through a rift in a random location in the safe zone late in the game, which is why so many players try to get to it as soon as possible. The capture point on the island contains the Mythic Drum Shotgun, one of the strongest weapons in the game.
Reddit user TriggeredLatina_ posted a video of another player using a brilliant strategy to capture the island. The player sat on the tree located next to the capture point, which allowed them not only to capture the island but to also get easy eliminations against unsuspecting enemies.
Getting on the tree is extremely easy, as players simply need to get on the house first, then jump on the tree from it. Using this strategy, it’s possible to score easy eliminations and get fantastic Mythic loot. Considering that it’s possible to get almost completely inside the tree and become nearly invisible, this strategy is perfect and easy to master.
The only downside is that many players will start checking trees from now on. Due to this, it will be hard to pull this trick off, as it will quickly spread over the next few days.
