Fortnite Chapter 4 – Season 3 recently came out. While the new season has brought many amazing things to the video game, some players have complained about the lack of mobility, especially in the end game.

Epic Games has removed a lot of mobility items at the start of the new season but that will soon change. The video game developer announced that the fan-favorite mobility item is coming back to the game next week.

Players had the opportunity to use the Shockwave Hammer in the first season of Chapter 4, but Epic is now bringing back Shockwave Grenades.

Shockwave Grenades will fix Fortnite mobility

Shockwave Grenades are among the most popular mobility items in Fortnite of all time. They are amazing both as a mobility item and as a weapon that can be used against enemies. These items haven’t been available in Chapter 4 yet, as they were vaulted at the very beginning of it.

Instead, Epic Games released several other mobility items, such as the Shockwave Hammer, ODM Gear, Spider-Man Web Shooters, and others.

Fortunately, Shockwave Grenades will make their return to the video game next week with the v25.10 update. This information comes from Epic Games, who posted it on the Fortnite Status Twitter account.

Many players are excited to hear this news because the current season doesn’t have a lot of mobility options. While using bikes, cars, and other mobility items that are in the game is great for the early stages of the match, these items are not really amazing in the end game.

However, once the Shockwave Grenade comes back, that will change and players will be able to use this amazing utility for end-game movement.

Considering that many players have complained about the lack of mobility in Chapter 4 – Season 3, it’s no surprise that Epic Games has decided to unvault the popular item. The development team will continue to monitor gameplay and release more mobility changes in the future if necessary.
