This week we’ve got a pair of games available for free. One of them as part of a time-limited giveaway and another is a hugely successful game that’s switching to a free-to-play model.

The classic third entry in the theme park management series, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 is available for free for a limited time on the Epic Game Store. This is the Complete Edition, which includes both the Soaked! and Wild! expansion packs.

RollerCoaster Tycoon is all about the fantasy of running your own theme park and designing your own rollercoasters. You have to balance building fun rollercoasters with keeping the lights on, so you want to get as many punters in and out as quickly as possible and keep them buying french fries and sodas. This is an old game now, originally released in 2004.

Not only is Rocket League available for completely free now, but Epic is also giving anyone who installs it a $10 gift voucher. It’s almost like they don’t want anyone to spend any money on the Epic Games Store, and just get things for free.

Rocket League has been a hugely successful game across all platforms, and as of this week, it has gone completely free to play. There’s monetization in the form of microtransactions and cosmetics, but the main game is available without any kind of paywall.

They’re currently running a crossover event with Fortnite, Epic’s other huge free to play game, with various Rocket League and Fortnite themed rewards available in both games, for a limited time. Complete various different challenges in either game, and you’ll get different cosmetic rewards.

Let us know if you’re going to be playing either of these freebies this weekend, and check back next Friday for more free games.
